There is power in turning back to the Lord.

In order to know who you are sometimes you have to go back to the beginning. There was a covenant established between God and Abraham. However, when we very off and partake in things unholy unto God Exodus 20:5 says what He will do. No matter what life throws our way there is power in knowing who you are to God and not be persuaded to anger a jealous God. When we understand who we are, we can see the manifestation of God in our lives.

This message of power is coming from the book of Kings. We know that in the book of Kings and the book of Chronicles there is a record of every king's reign. We see some kings followed after the Lord and some ended up not following after the Lord and after the abominations of the heathen and served other Gods. No matter what king is reigning we must stay grounded in the Lord.

This message of power is about turning our hearts to God. God is not afar off but near and when we draw close to Him, He will draw close to us. He is a God that will honor his people when they honor Him. This does not mean we are exempt from trials or things will be easy but through our seasons of battles and abundance we keep our hearts turned to God.

The whole world is being judge for the decisions they choose to make to not follow God and lean more on the side of wickedness. But Gods people are supposed to be strong in Him. Our strength in the Lord must reflect our ability to be in a world that may attempt to influence and entice us to believe and accept things that are not of God. There is power in taking heed to Gods warnings to turn back to Him from any abominations in the world.

The Lord has always had an issue with idol worship or whoring after other gods. This has been seen as a cycle with Gods people for them to begin to follow practices, ordinances and different ways from those that were placed around them. Ultimately leaving the commandments of God. There is power in seeking the Lord and the Lord only because when we do, we can expect to see God move on His people's behalf and hear from God.

It is important that those in position to lead set the standard for others on how to serve the Lord. We see that in these two circumstances the Lord's people provoke Him to anger with their actions to follow idols and partake in witchcraft. Then we see what the Lord does when He is provoke and takes action to judge His people to sets things back in order. In all, those who are leading must serve as an example and set the standard. Also, we see how God is God all by Himself. Even though the people suffered defeat God redeemed His people by fighting all by Himself.

Coming back into Gods presence means turning away from our ways and coming into repentance. Repentance: a complete change of heart and mind, involving a turning away from sin and a turning towards God, with the intention of living a life that pleases Him. With God we can expect His guidance, love, protection and preservation when we stay in His presence.

This message of power is about knowing yourself and knowing God. When we allow our fears, limits (impatience) and things that makes us angry, get the best of us we must know the word of God to allow it to activate in our lives; so, we are not influenced by our fears, limits ( impatience) and anger to leave God and follow the things of this world God tells us not to do.

This message of power is about staying connected to God. If we desire to stay connected to God, we must know what will disconnect us from God and come out of it.
Galatians 5:22-23
This message of power is about having self-control. Through my experiences with witchcraft, I learned one thing that many use witchcraft to do and that is to be in control. However, the real power is in having self-control. Self-control is a fruit of the spirit and also a spiritual defense that allows us to walk in the spiritual authority that is given to us by God through Christ. Christ showed a lot of self-control as he carried out his purpose, and we must have self-control to stick with God.

This message of power is about the power of our minds and hearts. The word of God tells us from these scriptures that we must not conform to the things of this world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind.
